Andy Martinez

Andy was born and raised in the Quad Cities. After graduating from United Township High School in 2010, he attended Southwest Baptist University and received a B.A. in Biblical Studies. In January of 2016, Andy joined the Homewood team as the Pastor of Student Ministries. His passion is to help the next generation discover the abundant life found in trusting Jesus as Savoir and Lord. In his free time, Andy enjoys sports, the outdoors, and connecting with friends and family.

Amelia Helm

Amelia has worked with children for decades, from volunteering in the nursery, preschool, elementary, junior high and high school at church to substitute teaching in public schools and tutoring dyslexic students. She values daily time in the Word and growing in her walk with Jesus. Besides pouring into children’s lives, Amelia enjoys reading, biking, walking, good coffee, yummy foods and spending time with people.

Karen Fialek

Karen grew up in the Quad Cities. She treasures time she spends with her husband, David, and son, John, as well as extended family and friends. Karen loves Bible study, especially hearing how God still uses seemingly impossible situations and broken people — reminders that NOTHING is too big for God. Karen loves creative projects and spending time outdoors, whether gardening, doing yard work, or just enjoying God's beautiful and amazing creation.
